GoGrid Network Maintenance

Tuesday, February 28 08:00 - 18:00 PST (GMT-8) and Wednesday, February 29 08:00 - 18:00 PST (GMT-8)

Customer Impact:

There should be no impact to the power in the facility and no down time is expected.

Maintenance Details:

GoGrid will be performing a scheduled infrared scanning of all the US-West-1 data center power equipment and electrical panels on February 28 and 29, 2012. During the maintenance, our vendor will carefully remove panels from each piece of equipment, the internal parts will be infrared scanned to locate any unusual hot spots, and then the vendor will carefully re-install the panel.

Firewall Issue - Resolved

Some users have reported an issue with accessing servers behind their firewall in our U.S. West data center. Our Engineering team is currently investigating. Please log a case to be notified or check here for further updates.

Update: @ 11:25 AM PST Feb 7 - Our Engineering team reports the issue has reoccurred and is researching the problem.

Update: @ 1:00 PM PST Feb 7 - Network Engineers have marked the device as stable and are working with our vendors for more information and to ensure this does not happen again.

Update: @ 01:36 AM PST Feb 8 - The issue has reoccurred and out Network Engineering team is investigating.

Update: @ 06:42 AM PST Feb 8 - The Network Engineering team reports that the issue has been resolved. The firewall is now stable.

Update: @ 1:21 PM PST Feb 8 - We are again seeing this issue and we are working on a resolution.

Emergency SAN Maintenance - Completed

Systems Engineers have been alerted to a connectivity issue with the SAN service and are working promptly to resolve it. During the course of this emergency maintenance the SAN will be intermittently unavailable. We will update this post once the maintenance has been completed.
